It is the responsibility of the homeowner to verify that the hired contractor furnishes the necessary license and insurance required for the work being performed. All persons depicted in a photo or video are actors or models and not contractors listed on Virginia Water Damage Pros.

What the First Disclaimer Means
Virginia Water Damage Pros operates a dispatch line and this website. It does not perform restoration work. Every contractor or restoration company you may be connected with is an independent business that operates on its own, hires its own employees, sets its own prices and carries its own insurance.
Because of that, no warranty or guarantee is made about any work performed by a provider. If a provider's work is defective, the remedy is with that provider, under whatever agreement and warranty you reach with them. Before work begins, you should confirm that the provider holds whatever license or registration applies to the work in your locality, and that the provider carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for the crew that will be in your home.
The note about photos and video exists because this site may use representative imagery rather than photographs of actual contractors. Any person shown in an image on this site is a model or an actor, not a contractor on the provider network.
What the Second Disclaimer Means
Availability depends on real-world conditions. During a regional storm, a freeze event or a flood, every provider in the area is working at capacity, and response times grow. In rural counties, a provider may cover a wide service radius, and travel time adds to the wait. Provider participation in the network also changes over time, so a provider available in one market last year may not be active there this year.
What this means practically: call and ask. A dispatcher can tell you what is realistic for your address right now rather than promising a window that cannot be met.
No Endorsement of Any Provider
